Assistant Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing quarterly expenditure forecast/annual plan and monitoring budget

  • Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports / sales margin review / analyze liability, asset, and capital accounts by compiling electronic data and required documentation

  • Ensure compliance with Corporate and Company policies and procedures and according to Philippines Financial Reporting Standards, Tax and Statutory requirements

  • Supervise and review the work of Accountant

  • Provide supports to Sales / Sales Admin on daily sales process / queries

  • Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance

  • Liaise with external and internal auditors, tax agent, government bodies

  • Supporting Regional Senior Human Resource Manager in implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures, HR initiatives/projects (if any)

  • Responsible for local payroll and maintenance of employee data in payroll system including personal files

  • Coordinate and manage the office administration related activities such as housekeeping, service provider sourcing and contract management, office equipment maintenance, etc.

  • Review / Enforce / Implement Finance Control and Procedure

  • Liaise and coordinate with all Government regulating Agencies, supervise and manage the compliance to all reportorial requirements of the Company

  • Assist Finance Controller / VP Finance on day-to-day finance tasks

  • Other ad-hoc associated duties

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance holder with 5-8 years of working experience

  • Must be knowledgeable with the Philippines Tax laws and provisions

  • Experience with audit firm, background/knowledge with SAP and Oracle Financials will be an added advantage

  • Willing to learn and has a good analytical mind

  • Results- oriented, assertive and willing to face challenges and take up responsibilities

  • Outgoing and seeks to build strong business relationships with people internally

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
