About the role
Space Virtual Support is seeking a talented Video Editor and Social Media Content Creator to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content to support our clients' social media and marketing initiatives. Your role will involve crafting engaging, visually-appealing videos that effectively communicate our clients' brand messages and connect with their target audience.
What you'll be doing
- Edit video footage to create cohesive, compelling video content
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand the creative vision and objectives for each video project
- Source and curate relevant visual assets, such as stock footage, photos, and graphics
- Ensure all video content adheres to the client's branding guidelines and quality standards
- Optimise video content for various social media platforms and online channels
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques and trends
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the overall video production process
What we're looking for
- Strong proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Excellent understanding of video composition, colour grading, and motion graphics
- Experience in creating engaging social media content, including short-form videos, reels, and stories
- Familiarity with video file formats, codecs, and compression techniques
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong creative and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with the latest social media trends and best practices
