The Paralegal & HR Support is responsible for managing, reviewing, and distributing legal documents and communications to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. They provide support in drafting legal materials, conducting document reviews, and offering administrative assistance. Additionally, they represent the company in legal proceedings and key meetings, providing support to executive management and recording meeting minutes as necessary.

I.      Paralegal Services

  • Assists the mancom/execom/internal & external legal representatives in many facets of corporate law – from paperwork to assistance;
  • Carries out routine tasks such as updating company files, preparing legal contracts, and reviewing documents;
  • Organizes and maintains documents in a paper or electronic filing system;
  • Conducts legal research and gather related legal information;
  • Consolidates laws, rulings and regulations in legal documents;
  • Assembles, proofreads, and amends drafts of contracts, leases, licenses, policies, and other legal documents;
  • Keeps track and protects electronic and physical records/databases;
  • Researches records, court files, press releases, and other legal documents;
  • Transcribes audio reports, legal proceedings;
  • Conducts desktop research, and using books, journal articles, newspaper sources, questionnaires, surveys, polls, and interviews to gather data;
  • Encodes legal correspondence and performs general office and clerical duties;
  • Assists in corporate litigation processes, procedures, and other specific business legal assistance needs;
  • Attends corporate meetings, prepares documents (e.g., minutes of the meeting, memorandum of agreement, secretary's certificate, affidavits, special power of attorney, etc.) and other similar corporate legal documents;

II.    HR Support

  • Provides assistance during internal investigation and administrative hearings by preparing documents, files and other HR related documents (e.g., notice to explain, notice of decision, termination, return to work order, etc.);
  • Works/collaborates with the HR leads in the creation and review of policies as may be directed;

III.     General Admin and Support Services

  • Provides legal document review and paralegal recommendation support in various company compliance matters pertaining to finance and accounting, service delivery, employee and labor relations, supplier/vendor contract management, business development, and among others;
  • Assists on hiring, training, and collaborates with the executive secretaries and other administrative support officers;
  • Submits legal documents or records in compliance with the SSS, BIR, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, and other third-party service providers for government and non-government entities as needed;
