About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Fixed Term - Accountant
to join our finance team for 1 year. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) activities, ensuring financial compliance, and providing key support in reporting and audit processes. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining smooth financial and operational workflows and will directly report to the Assistant Finance Manager.
You Will
- Manage daily accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
- Issue invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process payments through the online banking platform.
- Upload and code invoices into the ERP system.
- Assist in preparing documents and reports required for audit and tax compliance.
- Ensure adherence to Group Financial Policies and internal controls.
- Provide support to business units in resolving merchant-related queries.
- Contribute to the efficiency of financial and operational workflows.
- Prepare and review month-end and year-end financial reports.
- Personally attend to BIR submissions at the Pasig office when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain strong working relationships.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in ERP systems and online banking processes.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Must be willing to report onsite to the Makati office four (4) days a week.
