Overview:

Reporting to Facility Administration, the Facilities & Safety Officer will ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of building facilities. This includes managing maintenance, enforcing safety standards, conducting trainings, and coordinating emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee building maintenance, contractor coordination, and preventive service schedules.
  • Lead occupational safety programs, including risk assessments, inspections, toolbox talks, and trainings.
  • Implement emergency preparedness plans and conduct regular drills.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations through internal audits and coordination with DOLE, BFP, and other agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training activities.
  • Chair or support internal Safety Committee meetings and ensure dissemination of minutes and corrective actions.
  • Monitor PPE, firefighting/aed equipment, and first-aid readiness.
  • Support security operations, including access control monitoring and contractor coordination.
  • Prepare periodic safety performance reports and suggest improvements.
  • Execute additional safety-related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Safety, Facility Management).
  • DOLE-accredited COSH (SO3) certification or higher required.
  • 2+ years experience in facility safety or building administration.
  • Knowledgeable in DOLE-OSH, Fire Code PD 1185, and emergency planning.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office;
  • Driver's license preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php35,000.00 per month
