About the Role

As a Data Architect, you'll be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise data models that ensure data integrity, scalability, and security. You'll also establish data standards, manage metadata, and collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into effective data solutions aligned with governance frameworks.

  • Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support enterprise reporting and analytics.
  • Define data mappings and transformation logic for ETL processes across the bank's enterprise data ecosystem.
  • Support integrations using Azure Data Factory (data movement) and Azure Databricks (data transformation).
  • Ensure data models and processes comply with internal governance and regulatory standards.
  • Manage metadata across the data platform, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams.
  • Partner with data engineers, business analysts, and other IT teams to align data architecture with business goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in data architecture, modeling, and integration.
  • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and security frameworks.
