Job Summary:

The Treasury Associate is responsible in overseeing billing, collections, and cash management activities across its Philippine operations. The role involves supervising invoicing and distribution units, maintaining relationships with banks and government agencies, and supporting liquidity and compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise/monitor of invoicing and collection with Transco for all operating entities
  • Issues official receipts to all Distribution Units for all operating entities
  • Monitors 2307 submission from Distributions Units and coordinates with Tax team to make sure complete documentation
  • Supervise internal and external billing and collection
  • Works with the Treasury Manager with the objective of maintaining adequate liquidity to meet its local business requirements
  • Maintains relationships with banks, service providers, regulators/government agencies (BSP, BIR, SEC, BOI, etc.) that enhance the Company's ability meet its liquidity requirements.
  • Assist Treasury Manager to streamline, manage and rationalize bank accounts to ensure efficient use of cash, and the flow of funds for its business requirements
  • Helps monitors debt covenants and other requirements for loan compliance, and other short-term credit facilities of the business.
  • Identify, implement and optimize cash management opportunities
  • Administers transactions and short-term investments for the business;
  • Initiate and drive ad-hoc projects that support the goals of an excellent Treasury Department
  • Supports the Country roll-out and implementation of treasury management software
  • Together with the Accounting Control & Tax Team, monitors, updates and maintains bank account details, authorization and user entitlements are up to-date
  • Supports the execution of risk mitigating strategies of the region (e.g. FX hedging), as and when necessary
  • Provides assistance in statutory compliance requirements as needed; and
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Pre-requisites:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business, or Finance
  • With at least 3 years of treasury management experience
  • Experience in Loan Processing a plus
