SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer Team Lead with a minimum of 5 years of experience in React JS/Typescript. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in additional technologies such as FIGMA, UI/UX design, Typescript, REST APIs, and Storybook. Experience in the MSP (Managed Service Provider) industry is highly desirable. This role requires both leadership and technical expertise. The candidate will lead a team of developers, manage workloads, run scrum meetings, review pull requests, and provide regular updates to management. At the same time, they will also manage their own development workload.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Lead

  • Lead a team of software developers, promoting growth, accountability, and high performance.
  • Run daily scrum meetings to ensure alignment, remove blockers, and track progress.
  • Conduct weekly progress meetings to evaluate team performance and project status.
  • Review pull requests to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to developers as needed.
  • Organize and prioritize development tasks based on deadlines, team capacity, and individual strengths.
  • Assign tasks strategically to align with developer skill sets and available bandwidth.
  • Communicate regularly with management to provide updates on project status, risks, and resource needs.

Software Development

  • Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using React JS (Typescript).
  • Collaborate with the design team to translate wireframes and mockups into seamless front-end experiences.
  • Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies and best practices, including the use of AI tools.
  • Provide timely and comprehensive updates to the team regarding the status of assigned tasks, gather feedback, and implement design/logic changes as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in React JS development.
  • Proficiency in technologies such as Typescript, FIGMA, UI/UX design, Storybook, Jira/Confluence, and GIT/Bitbucket.
  • AI and unit testing experience is a plus.
  • Experience in the MSP industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to create intuitive user interfaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement.
  • Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
