Job Purpose As a Tech Lead, you will provide technical vision and leadership for cross-functional project teams working with modern technologies across mobile, web, backend systems, and cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for architectural decisions, technical strategy, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will mentor colleagues across the technology stack, drive technical excellence through strong engineering and testing practices, and bridge the gap between business objectives and technical implementation in an agile, client-focused environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing technical aspects of projects and ensuring top-notch technical solutions for our clients.
Key Accountabilities Technical Leadership & Architecture Define technical vision, architecture, and standards while remaining hands-on with coding. Lead architectural decisions ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability. Design and establish API standards, integration patterns, and system architecture. Implement and review security protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations. Establish data governance policies, privacy standards, and data management practices. Lead performance optimization, system monitoring, and capacity planning. Define SLA frameworks, performance benchmarking, and system resilience strategies. Drive proof-of-concept initiatives, technical risk assessments, and troubleshoot critical issues. Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to drive innovation.
Team Development & Quality Management Mentor, coach, and develop cross-functional engineers across specializations. Support hiring processes through candidate evaluation, interviewing, and technical assessments. Provide performance input and career development guidance for technical staff. Develop and deliver technical training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions. Establish and enforce code review processes and a culture of peer reviews. Implement comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end, automation). Drive adoption of best practices such as TDD, automated pipelines, and quality metrics. Monitor system performance, reliability, and drive continuous improvement.
Project Management & Delivery Provide technical estimates, planning, and resource allocation across projects. Manage cross-functional dependencies and ensure on-time technical delivery. Drive agile practices, ensuring technical considerations are represented in planning. Lead release management, deployment processes, and incident response with postmortems. Oversee change management for upgrades, migrations, and new technology adoption. Balance technical debt with feature delivery to ensure sustainable velocity.
Client & Business Engagement Define documentation standards and knowledge management practices. Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and clients to align solutions with business needs. Deliver technical presentations, demos, and solution showcases. Support pre-sales with solution design and client consultations. Evaluate vendor tools, third-party integrations, and partnerships. Consider cost optimization and budget implications in technical choices.

Knowledge and Experience Technical Expertise 7+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in a Tech Lead, Architect, or similar leadership role (preferably in mobile software development). Strong proficiency in React Native with experience in cross-platform app development (Expo framework a plus). Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern programming practices (ES6+, async programming, advanced type safety). Experience with mobile architecture patterns (Redux/Context API, state management, cross-platform best practices). Experience with mobile testing frameworks: Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, Maestro. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Solid understanding of database design, optimization, and management. Strong background in API design, microservices, and full-stack development frameworks. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and mobile release processes (App Store/Play Store). Strong Git expertise (branching strategies, workflows, code review leadership). Familiarity with mobile debugging tools and native iOS/Android development is a plus.
Communication & Business Acumen Excellent English communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts. Proven client-facing experience, managing technical relationships and expectations.
