The opportunity

iOPEX Technologies is seeking an experienced HR-BP | Employee Relations Specialist to join our team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in maintaining positive employee-employer relationships and ensuring compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

  1. Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievances, and performance management
  2. Investigate employee complaints and grievances, and facilitate resolutions in a fair and impartial manner
  3. Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement policies, programs, and initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive work environment
  4. Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies related to employee relations
  5. Deliver training and guidance to managers and employees on best practices in employee relations
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee relations activities and cases
  7. Assist with the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and events

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
  2. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role
  3. Thorough knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices in employee relations
  4. Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels
  6. Experience in conducting investigations and managing sensitive employee relations cases
