Research and Data Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Market Research

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to understand consumer behavior, industry trends, and competitor activities.
• Gather data through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and third-party research tools.
• Build market profiles and identify growth opportunities for Nutrifinds.

2. Data Collection & Management

• Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources (internal systems, social media, sales, campaigns, etc.).
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and completeness of data sets.

3. Data Analysis & Interpretation

• Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and key business drivers.
• Apply statistical methods and data visualization techniques to generate insights.
• Provide actionable recommendations to support product, brand, and marketing strategies.

4. Reporting & Insights

• Develop regular performance dashboards and customized reports for management and different departments.
• Present findings clearly and persuasively through visualizations, charts, and executive summaries.

5. Strategy & Decision Support

• Translate research findings into business strategies that guide product launches, campaigns, and promotions.
• Collaborate with Brand, Product, and Marketing teams to align insights with strategic goals.

6. Competitor & Industry Monitoring

• Track and analyze competitor performance, market positioning, and consumer engagement.
• Keep updated on industry innovations and shifts to anticipate business opportunities or risks.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Marketing, Sales, E-Commerce, and Product teams to support data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure alignment of research initiatives with company objectives.

8. Continuous Improvement

• Recommend new tools, systems, or methodologies to improve research and data analytics processes.
• Stay updated with the latest data trends, technologies, and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Business, or related field.

2. Professional Experience

• At least 3-5 years of experience in research, data analysis, or business intelligence.
• Experience in market research, analytics, or strategy support in FMCG, retail, or related industries is a plus.

3. Technical Proficiency

• Skilled in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Knowledge of statistical methods and research tools (SPSS, R, Python, or equivalent is a plus).

4. Research & Analytical Skills

• Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
• Comfortable handling both quantitative and qualitative research.

5. Reporting & Communication

• Excellent skills in creating dashboards, reports, and visual presentations.
• Strong verbal and written communication to present findings persuasively to stakeholders.

6. Collaboration & Teamwork

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and support multiple teams with data-driven recommendations.
• Comfortable balancing multiple research initiatives simultaneously.

• Highly organized, with the ability to manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and deliver reports efficiently.
