IT Intern

The Intern will work closely with the IT team to support the creation, validation, and maintenance of knowledge articles, as well as the testing of chatbot data. He/She will gain hands-on experience in knowledge management, quality assurance, and data-driven decision-making within an IT environment.
What You Will Need?
Required skills:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Strong written communication skills with attention to detail and ability to simplify complex technical information.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Willing to render internship hours
What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:
* Familiarity with IT tools such as Cherwell, Jira Confluence, SharePoint is a plus.
* Basic understanding of chatbots or artificial intelligence (AI) technology is desirable.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
* Draft and migrate knowledge articles based on the latest IT solutions, troubleshooting steps, and FAQs.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure content accuracy and clarity.
* Organize and categorize knowledge articles in the IT knowledge base for easy access and reference.
* Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) on knowledge content to ensure it meets the company's standards and serves user needs.
* Assist in reviewing the data used by the IT chatbot, ensuring responses align with best practices and internal knowledge.
* Test and validate chatbot interactions to confirm the accuracy of responses and identify potential areas for improvement.
* Maintain a daily log of tasks and provide feedback on the progress of knowledge article updates and chatbot testing.
* Prepare weekly reports summarizing knowledge article created, chatbot test results, and any ongoing improvement recommendations.
* Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to discuss improvements in knowledge management processes and chatbot features.
* Gain exposure to emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies in knowledge management and IT support.
* Assist in any ad-hoc tasks related to IT knowledge management and chatbot optimization.
