Role Overview

Own the entire ecommerce experience for 5+ wellness/longevity brands—strategizing, optimizing, and orchestrating every website touchpoint to maximize conversion, AOV, and customer lifetime value through systematic CRO, testing, and tech stack management.

Why This Role Exists

Our client is a full-service growth agency managing high-growth wellness and longevity brands. They drive traffic through ads, email, and organic—but the website is where conversions happen or die.

This person is the strategic operator who ensures:

  • Every campaign from the Growth Strategist translates into optimized landing pages and on-site experiences
  • Site conversion rates are constantly improving through testing and optimization
  • Tech stack (apps, upsells, personalization, checkout) works cohesively
  • Data is tracked accurately and insights drive continuous improvement
  • All 5 brands maintain excellence without slipping through the cracks

They don't code themselves—they architect, brief, and QA while directing designers and developers to execute flawlessly.

Required Experience

Must-Haves

  • 4–6 years in ecommerce, CRO, or Shopify optimization (DTC brand or agency)
  • Proven track record improving site conversion rates and AOV through testing and optimization
  • Deep Shopify expertise: themes, page builders (Replo, Shogun, GemPages), apps, checkout customization
  • CRO methodology: can design tests, analyze results, and iterate systematically
  • Tech stack fluency: knows how to evaluate, implement, and troubleshoot ecommerce apps and integrations
  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable with GA4, Shopify Analytics, profitability tracking, attribution
  • Systems-thinking: can manage 5+ brands simultaneously without things slipping through cracks
  • Excellent communication: writes clear briefs, FRDs, and feedback for designers/developers
  • Experience working with 7–8+ figure DTC brands (understands scale and complexity)

Preferred (Nice-to-Haves)

  • In-house brand experience (has been on the internal team of a DTC brand, not just agency-side)
  • Owns or has operated their own Shopify store (entrepreneurial, knows the full stack)
  • Basic Liquid/HTML/CSS skills (can make small tweaks without needing a developer)
  • Experience in wellness, health, longevity, beauty, or supplement brands
  • Familiarity with advanced CRO tools: VWO, Optimizely, heatmaps (Hotjar, Lucky Orange), session replay
  • Conversion copywriting skills (can write persuasive landing page copy, not just provide direction)
  • Profitability-first mindset: understands contribution margin, LTV:CAC, unit economics

Compensation & Structure

  • Base: $3,000–$5,000/month (based on experience and portfolio)
  • Structure: Contractor (potential for full-time conversion based on performance)

Work Schedule

  • Hours: Full-time equivalent
  • Time Zone Preference: Flexible, but must have overlap with US business hours for weekly syncs
