GA HR Consultancy, the accredited headhunter of a premier nationwide retail chain, is proud to present a key leadership opportunity for an experienced DEMAND PLANNING HEAD.

Our client is a trusted Philippine retail and distribution brand with over 100 stores, specializing in automotive, residential, and commercial cooling solutions. They manage a large and complex product portfolio sourced from global and local suppliers, supported by robust nationwide logistics and inventory operations.

To enhance forecasting accuracy, supply planning, and inventory availability, the company is seeking a highly seasoned Demand Planning Head with expertise in trading, importation, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the formulation and execution of demand planning strategies to ensure accurate forecasting and optimal inventory levels nationwide.
  • Consolidate data from sales, marketing, historical trends, and market insights to build reliable forecasts.
  • Manage demand-supply balancing through close collaboration with purchasing, logistics, merchandising, and sales teams.
  • Oversee SKU-level forecasting, safety stock targets, and replenishment processes for diverse product categories.
  • Improve forecasting tools, analytics processes, and planning systems to drive operational efficiency.
  • Lead and develop the demand planning team, strengthening analytical rigor and operational discipline.
  • Work closely with importation and procurement teams to anticipate lead times, supplier constraints, and ordering cycles.
  • Provide regular planning dashboards and executive reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure alignment between forecasts, financial projections, and business expansion plans.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in demand planning, ideally from a trading company with importation operations.
  • Strong leadership background with experience managing a demand planning or supply chain team.
  • Deep understanding of forecasting models, inventory optimization, and supply chain workflows.
  • Proficiency in planning systems, ERP tools, analytics dashboards, and advanced Excel.
  • Senior-level experience suitable for complex, multi-branch retail and distribution environments.
  • Willing to accept a 2-year fixed-term employment contract.
  • Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and executive-level reporting capability.
