About the Role

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for aligning cross-functional teams and delivering measurable business impact? This role is ideal for a highly motivated demand planning expert who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-market FMCG environment. You'll lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and S&OP process across multiple countries, turning data into action and insights into growth.

What You'll Do

1. Lead the IBP / S&OP Process Across the Cluster

  • Own and drive the end-to-end IBP / S&OP governance across the region

  • Ensure alignment to the "one number" forecast principle across all stakeholders

  • Facilitate monthly S&OP and Market Business Review meetings, aligning demand plans with Finance, Commercial, and Marketing

  • Partner with teams to identify risks and opportunities and embed them into actionable plans

  • Maintain a 24-month rolling forecast in line with organizational goals

2. Champion Demand Review Effectiveness

  • Lead Pre-Demand Reviews with distributors and internal stakeholders

  • Assess and validate forecast assumptions including NPDs, promotions, pricing elasticity, and distribution changes

  • Identify demand gaps and collaborate with Commercial teams on closing strategies

  • Align sales and marketing activities to demand forecasts and business goals

3. In-Market Sales & Inventory Reconciliation

  • Monitor the alignment between in-market sales, shipments, and inventory targets

  • Identify inventory imbalances at distributor level to maintain optimal stock and service levels

4. Drive Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyze KPIs such as forecast accuracy and bias

  • Implement improvement actions in collaboration with regional S&OP leadership

  • Participate in annual budget planning and SKU master data accuracy reviews

5. Collaborate with Supply Planning & Factories

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of shipment forecasts

  • Engage with factories to address capacity constraints and recommend allocation priorities

What You Bring

  • Strong stakeholder management experience at senior levels (Managing Director, Supply Chain, Finance, and Country Heads)

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills

  • Commercial awareness with a solid understanding of marketing and consumer dynamics

  • Proficiency in SAP, demand planning tools, and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and across cultures in a matrixed environment

  • Knowledge of new product development and end-to-end manufacturing processes

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field

  • 10–12+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, ideally in regional or multi-market FMCG roles

  • Strong background in IBP and S&OP processes
