The Regulatory Compliance Officer is primarily responsible for supporting the effective implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Bank's Compliance Program. This role ensures the Bank's strict adherence to applicable banking laws, regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards to mitigate regulatory risks and maintain the Bank's reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the Bank's Regulatory Compliance Program.
  • Monitor and evaluate the Bank's adherence to internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Identify potential compliance risks, gaps, and control weaknesses; recommend and support preventive or corrective actions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies such as the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and other relevant authorities.
  • Coordinate and facilitate regulatory examinations, audits, and reporting requirements to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Support training and awareness initiatives to promote compliance culture within the organization.
  • Maintain and update compliance documentation, policies, and procedures to reflect regulatory changes.
  • Conduct periodic compliance reviews and internal audits as required.
  • Provide guidance and support to business units on regulatory compliance matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in the banking or financial services industry, preferably in compliance or risk management roles.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in Regulatory Compliance Program development and administration.
  • Solid understanding of banking laws, anti-money laundering regulations, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with key regulatory bodies such as BSP, AMLC, PDIC, and SEC.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Bacoor, Cavite.
