We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Support Officer to assist in supporting the sales team and ensuring seamless client interactions. You will work alongside brokers and risk management specialists to deliver timely, effective, and proactive sales support services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a basic understanding of the insurance or risk management industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team in preparing insurance proposals, quotes, and presentations related to insurance and reinsurance brokerage services.
- Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients in managing day-to-day inquiries, providing prompt responses to emails, phone calls, and other communications.
- Risk Financing Program Support: Help coordinate the planning and management of global insurance programs, including the preparation of documents, quotes, and follow-up activities.
- Captive Insurance Management: Assist in managing captive insurance companies, ensuring all relevant paperwork, claims, and documentation are up to date.
- Project Insurance: Support the team in planning and implementing project insurance coverage, ensuring that all necessary policies are correctly applied.
- Risk Assessment and Loss Control: Assist with compiling and organizing client risk data, and help the team manage risk assessments and loss control reports.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client correspondence, quotations, proposals, and agreements in the CRM system.
- Collaboration with Sales Team: Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team, ensuring smooth and efficient sales processes.
- Report Generation: Assist in generating regular sales reports, tracking insurance program activities, and providing data to the management team.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, insurance products, and market developments to support the team with relevant insights.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-2 years in a sales support, administrative, or customer service role, ideally in the insurance, risk management, or finance industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of insurance, risk management, or reinsurance processes. Previous experience in the field is a plus but not required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and client communications.
- Proactive: Ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, and solve problems independently.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, supporting sales staff and collaborating across departments.
