Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Front-End Developer (Elementor Specialist) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and building websites using Elementor and WordPress, ensuring responsive designs, optimizing site performance, and supporting the team in delivering seamless client experiences.

  • Compensation: 1000 AUD/month (paid bi-monthly)
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM Brisbane Time (20hrs/week)
  • Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine website maintenance, including plugin updates, backups, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Build and update Elementor layouts from Figma designs, ensuring cross-device responsiveness.
  • Manage WordPress hosting environments via cPanel and DNS configurations.
  • Assist with website launches, including QA checks, site speed optimization, and domain setups.
  • Collaborate with the team using ClickUp and Google Suite to stay aligned on project priorities.
  • Report progress and blockers proactively during daily or weekly check-ins.
  • Occasionally support client onboarding tasks in Dubsado (form updates, automation reviews).

Qualifications

Technical Skills Required:

  • Elementor Pro expertise - Confident in building and maintaining complex layouts.
  • WordPress management - Installation, setup, plugin updates, and theme configuration.
  • cPanel and DNS management - Domain transfers, hosting setup, troubleshooting.
  • HTML5 and CSS3 proficiency - Pixel-perfect implementation from Figma designs.
  • Basic PHP and JavaScript knowledge for debugging or minor feature adjustments.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Experience with page speed optimization and troubleshooting.

Soft & Professional Skills:

  • Excellent communication, especially in remote, multicultural teams.
  • Reliability and accountability - Demonstrates "radical responsibility" for performance and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail - Ensures high-quality work and design consistency.
  • Problem-solving mindset - Proactively resolves bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
  • Self-management - Ability to work independently during overlapping AEST hours.

The candidate must be proficient in the following tools:

  • WordPress & Elementor Pro (core tools for development and design), Figma (for referencing design mockups), Cloudflare and cPanel (for DNS and hosting management), ClickUp (for task management and communication), Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Meet, Drive for team collaboration).
