Intermediate Accountant

Location: Clark, Pampanga

Work Arrangement: Remote, Fulltime

Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Monday - Friday

About this role. . .

We're looking for a skilled Intermediate Accountant with solid experience in Australian public practice to support tax compliance, financial reporting, and client advisory work. This role offers exposure to a diverse client base and the opportunity to collaborate with senior accountants while continuing to build technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and FBT returns
  • Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and process bank transactions
  • Assist in preparing income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies
  • Draft financial statements and working papers for review
  • Reconcile ATO accounts and assist with correspondence
  • Support SMSF compliance and reporting
  • Prepare client queries and maintain strong communication

Qualifications / Skills:

  • 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience, including 18+ months in Australian public practice
  • Proficient in Xero, including BAS preparation, trial balance, and bookkeeping
  • Strong Excel skills (7/10 or higher)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Xero Payroll, Class Super, and Business Fitness Active Workpapers is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
