The Fun Farm Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Fun Farm, ensuring efficient execution of activities, events, and guest services. This role supervises staff, maintains safety and cleanliness standards, and ensures that all guests experience a pleasant, memorable, and well-organized visit.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management- Oversee daily Fun Farm operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution of activities and attractions.
- Monitor workflow and address operational issues promptly.
- Ensure all areas of the farm are safe, presentable, and compliant with company standards.
- Supervise, schedule, and guide staff including animal handlers, play area attendants, and event coordinators.
- Conduct regular training and coaching to maintain high performance and service quality.
- Ensure staff adherence to farm policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Assist guests and address inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements when needed.
- Oversee reservations, bookings, and event scheduling.
- Coordinate with internal departments for proper setup, logistics, and execution of events.
- Ensure events are executed on time and according to client expectations.
- Maintain overall cleanliness and safety of all areas within the Fun Farm.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment, play areas, and animal zones are in good working condition.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and upkeep.
- Collect and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on farm performance, guest feedback, and staff productivity.
- Recommend strategies to enhance efficiency and overall guest experience.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in hospitality, events, recreation, or similar industries.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in an outdoor, fast-paced environment.
