Job Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers throughout the purchasing process by providing excellent service, product knowledge, and support. This role involves maintaining store displays, processing sales transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Sales Associate also contributes to achieving sales targets, promoting products, and upholding store standards to deliver a positive shopping experience.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

  • Greet and assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs.
  • Provide accurate product information and recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets through effective selling and upselling techniques.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner.

Store Operations

  • Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain proper stock levels and ensure merchandise is displayed neatly and attractively.
  • Monitor inventory and report shortages or stock discrepancies.
  • Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and aligned with store standards.

Team & Process Support

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve overall store goals.
  • Stay updated on promotions, discounts, and store policies.
  • Participate in product knowledge training and development programs.
  • Support store management in other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college level or degree is an advantage.
  • Previous retail or sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
  • Willing to be assigned full-time in Lipa, Batangas.
