Job Description:

The Tax Associate Manager will focus on tax compliance with local and national regulations which also include tax research and other tasks that can generally improve the tax position and financial health of the company.

Job Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy and preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Minimum of 4-5 years relevant work experience in real estate development firms/other related industries and/or handled various general accounting, tax audit/compliance, financial reporting and internal/external audit functions.
  • Proficient in all aspects of communication including oral, written, presentation and negotiation skills
  • With strong/critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications – MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word or other accounting software/application such as SAP and Smartsheet.
  • With numerical proficiency and financial acumen relevant general accounting, tax audit/compliance and financial reporting.
  • Can deal and handle non-critical to (low) complex/critical problems and tasks relevant to tax audit/compliance and financial reporting.
  • With knowledge of Real Estate Taxation, Accounting principles, Financial Reporting and BIR Compliance requirements is an advantage.
  • With leadership skills, strategic thinking/, result-driven and process approach mindset.
  • Very/keen on details specifically on different aspects of taxation and financial reporting.
  • Familiar with new and existing tax laws, regulations and advisories is an advantage.
