Lifecycle Governance & Stage Management
- Publish service lifecycle artefacts and documentation, ensuring alignment with service portfolio, architecture, data and governance frameworks
- Conduct lifecycle reviews and checkpoints during key transitions (e.g., launch, growth, optimisation, retirement)
- Facilitate implementation of company service lifecycle model across all services
Service Maturity & Stage Progression
- Co-develop and support execution of a 3-phase service lifecycle enablement roadmap focused on:
- Phase 1 Stabilisation
- Phase 2 Maturity Building
- Phase 3 Customer-Centric Value Focus
- Co-develop and stabilize stage-specific entry/exit criteria, required artefacts, and success indicators across the service lifecycle, working closely with the Service Lifecycle Manager
- Establish a consistent method for tracking service stage progression and flag services with unclear or stalled lifecycle status
- Support development of service health assessment templates and maturity scorecards to evaluate compliance and improvement needs
Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory
- Serve as an ITIL Service Lifecycle SME alongside the Service Lifecycle Manager, supporting IT Business Partners, Service Owners, Portfolio Leads, and Product Managers
- Help clarify service status, stage readiness, and required artefacts for GTD Technology Committee
- Coordinate closely with the Performance & Insights Lead to ensure service lifecycle-related metrics are tracked and visualised
Tool, Data and Reporting Integration
- Support service lifecycle reporting automation initiatives using ITSM Tool and MS Applications
- Help maintain a centralised lifecycle register, ensuring metadata is updated and version-controlled
- Collaborate on improving service lifecycle data flows across systems (e.g., ITSM Tool, SAP, MS Apps, PPM Tool, or portfolio dashboards)
- Shape service lifecycle reporting and data visualizations to ensure accuracy, clarity, and stakeholder relevance
Capability Building & Enablement
- Contribute to the creation of training materials, templates, and playbooks that promote practical understanding of service lifecycle
- Run briefings, working sessions, retrospectives and lifecycle clinics to reinforce lifecycle discipline across GTD governance forums and business stakeholders
- Serve as a change agent for service lifecycle governance maturity and embedding lifecycle thinking into cross-functional practices and forums
PREFERRED
- Expertise in ITIL Service Lifecycle Management including but not limited to ITIL Service Catalog Management (SCM) and ITIL Service Portfolio Management
- Experience working in IT Service, Product, or Portfolio Governance
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency with MS Applications such as Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI tools
- Familiarity with ITSM Tool or similar platforms is an asset
