JOB SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the staff quarters by assisting in inventory, receiving, storing, and distributing products and materials. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the staff quarters is kept secure, clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
  • Inventory control, conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all materials received, stored, and shipped.
  • Follow company safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report any discrepancies or damages to the warehouse supervisor or manager.
  • Assist with warehouse audits and any other tasks as required.
  • Properly store items in designated locations, ensuring accurate inventory records.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel for basic data entry, inventory tracking, and reporting. Knowledge of Word or other software tools for documentation and communication.
  • Accurate data entry skills to track inventory levels, prepare reports, and maintain detailed records of warehouse activities.
  • Can start ASAP.
