Job Summary:

The Compliance Specialist
is responsible for ensuring alignment between information security policies, IT operations, and legal/compliance requirements, with a strong focus on ISO 27001 standards. The role involves leading governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives, conducting audits and risk assessments, and developing a long-term roadmap for ISO 27001 certification. The officer provides subject matter expertise on GRC frameworks, creates and enforces IT security policies, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports business continuity and disaster recovery planning. This role also includes monitoring IT security controls, identifying gaps, driving process improvements, and facilitating cross-department collaboration to strengthen the company's security posture.

Job Responsibilities:


• Lead and implement governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives across the organization.


• Develop, implement, and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks in alignment with ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS controls.


• Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements.


• Create and maintain an enterprise-wide GRC strategy aligned with business goals and IT operations.


• Develop and oversee the ISO 27001 roadmap, including certification preparation, internal controls, and process improvements.


• Monitor, evaluate, and enhance IT security controls, ensuring continuous compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.


• Provide subject matter expertise on risk management, compliance, and governance-related projects.


• Develop reports, dashboards, and documentation to communicate compliance status and risk posture to management.

Job Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.


• 5–8 years of experience in information security audits/assessments, including ISO 27001 audits.


• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, ISMS, NIST, CIS controls, and IT risk management frameworks.


• Experience in IT compliance, governance structures, and regulatory standards.


• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.


• Open to work in Alabang; Hybrid work arrangement.
