About the role

We are seeking an detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a specialization in fit-out projects within the construction industry to join our dynamic team at Multi Development And Construction Corporation (MDCC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical systems—including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection—within high-end interior fit-out and renovation projects. You will play a key role in ensuring mechanical systems are integrated seamlessly, meet all regulatory requirements, and are delivered on time and within budget. This full-time position is based in Sta Rosa, Laguna Project, where you will contribute to the strategic direction and successful delivery of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, review, and approve mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection) systems in fit-out projects.

  • Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, interior designers, and other MEP professionals to integrate mechanical systems into interior designs.

  • Conduct site inspections and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.

  • Prepare BOQs, technical submittals, and shop drawings in compliance with project specifications and standards.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation of mechanical components.

  • Ensure all mechanical systems comply with local building codes, health & safety regulations, and sustainability guidelines.

  • Support project managers in preparing progress reports and resolving technical issues during construction.

  • Attend client and contractor meetings and provide technical expertise during project

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • 3–7 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry, with a focus on fit-out projects.

  • Solid understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems as applied in interior fit-out.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other design tools; familiarity with project management software is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
