Site Engineer

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and monitor site labor force and the work of any subcontractors daily
  • Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
  • Ensure that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications.
  • Oversee the selection and requisition of materials.
  • Review and endorse subcontractor accomplishments.
  • Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and general workforce involved in the project.
  • Liaise with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers, and surveyors) including attending meetings.
  • Assist in organizing the site and facilities to meet agreed deadlines.

· Oversee quality control in accordance with procedures method statements, quality plans and inspection and test plans, all prepared by the project management team and by subcontractors

· Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

· Prepares report and submit Request for Information (RFI) s required.

OTHERS:

May be given other tasks to address the current needs or requirements of the company.
