About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Shift Engineer to join our team at Sodexo On-Site Services Philippines, Inc. in Iloilo City, Iloilo. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our facilities, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll be doing

  • Monitoring and maintaining the facility's equipment, systems, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective actions in a timely manner
  • Performing scheduled maintenance tasks and inspections to prevent future problems
  • Coordinating with the site management team to address any concerns or requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards
  • Providing training and guidance to the maintenance team as required
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all maintenance activities

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Shift Engineer or in a similar maintenance role
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Relevant certifications or training in maintenance, engineering, or a related field would be an advantage
