About the Role

As a
Cloud Engineer
, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based systems that support business-critical banking operations. You will work closely with development and IT teams to ensure high availability, security, and cost-efficient cloud operations.

This is a
local, onsite, project-based role in Manila
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and deploy cloud infrastructure on
    AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
  • Manage cloud resources including servers, networks, databases, and storage
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource usage
  • Collaborate with development teams to deploy
    cloud-native applications
  • Implement secure storage, backup, and recovery strategies
  • Enforce cloud security controls and ensure compliance with best practices
  • Identify and resolve infrastructure risks and deployment issues
  • Develop scripts for deployment, monitoring, and reporting
  • Translate business requirements into technical cloud solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience
    as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
  • Hands-on experience in
    Cloud Administration, Development, Web Operations
  • Experience with
    SRE operations
  • Practical exposure to
    AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
  • Ability to deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure
  • Experience supporting production environments

Good-to-Have

  • Scripting and automation skills (
    Python, PowerShell, or Bash
    )
  • Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc.)
  • Experience in performance monitoring and cost optimization
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities
  • Experience working in regulated or BFSI environments
