Project Engineer

Project Engineers are assigned to plan and establish project criteria. Ensures that approved project designs are implemented properly, handles the technical aspects of existing commercial clients, and prepares costing and quotations as well as monitors account receivables of projects assigned. Project Engineers are also trusted to oversee the performance of their respective subordinates.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• PRC license is an advantage
• Has prior experience on LPG pipeline installation and requalification or similar experience
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively under pressure.
• Equipped with technical knowledge and skills on mechanical equipment & LPG installation
• Good Team working skills and Interpersonal skills
• Oral and written communication skills
• Basic skills in the utilization of various computer programs such as: MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Auto-CAD.

Principal Accountabilities:

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Under the project requirements and score to determine manpower, equipment, materials and time schedules.
• Design LPG piping layout through floor or kitchen plans provided by client through ocular inspections as per industry standards.
• Study project plan, specification and calculating time requirements.
• Arrange the necessary manpower, materials and equipment including PPEs.
• End-to-end project monitoring through progress reports, coordination activities and problem resolutions.
• Monitor requests and all movement of equipment requested from the warehouse.
• Establish standard work instructions, house rules and regulations for the team.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and legal requirements throughout the duration of all projects.
• Attend and maintain all technical requirements over assigned commercial accounts and ensure all installation systems are in excellent working condition at the end of every project.
• Attend testing & commissioning after project completion.
• Conduct project turn-over after project completion.

CLIENT/SITE COORDINATION

• Conduct ocular inspections for planning.
• Coordination with clients, understanding the site needs.
• Responds to any client inquiries, concerns or requests for the duration of the project.
• Attend pre-construction meetings for house rules & regulations, safety & materials inventory.

PROJECT DOCUMENTATION

• Provide quotation for charge accounts and costing for internal accounts.
• Securing all necessary work permits such as but not limited to: hot works permit, temporary facility, power & water supply etc.
• Ensure all materials requested and equipment movement are documented.
• Monitor account receivables and payment for progress billing projects.
• Provides service reports with pictures.
• Prepare Testing, Completion and Acceptance Certificates.
• Provides As-Built Plan (Signed & Sealed), Bill of Materials, and Technical Specifications (if necessary) etc.
• Prepare all necessary reports for both internal and external clients.
• Prepare and send monthly deficiency reports to assigned commercial accounts

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

• Conduct pre-installation toolbox meetings.
• Plan and monitor manpower daily activities.
• Prepare and approve manpower attendance, overtime & leave reports.
• Coordinate all HSE related issues and programs with subordinates and monitor compliance.
