
IT Senior Staff

Job Description:
The IT Senior Staff is responsible for managing the organization's database, IT systems, and production support. This includes overseeing IT asset management, ensuring optimal functioning of software and hardware, performing backup and recovery operations, and providing technical assistance to various departments. The role requires collaboration across departments to maintain seamless IT operations, minimize downtime, and ensure compliance with safety and IT protocols.
Responsibilities:
Database, System, and Software Management
• Oversee and maintain the organization's database systems, ensuring efficient, secure, and reliable operations to support operation needs. Regularly monitor and optimize databases, addressing performance issues and minimizing downtime.
• Manage data storage processes, implement robust backup and recovery procedures, and regularly test recovery capabilities to ensure the integrity and availability of critical data.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain custom software applications that meet the organization's operational goals. Ensure all applications are secure, user-friendly, and optimized for efficiency.
• Work closely with various departments to understand their needs and ensure that all IT systems, software, and databases are seamlessly integrated into operational workflows, enhancing productivity and process automation.
IT Asset and Infrastructure Management
• Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement, installation, and maintenance to disposal, ensuring all hardware and software assets are in optimal working condition.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of IT equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure long-term functionality. Coordinate with vendors for repairs and replacements when necessary.
• Participate in infrastructure-related projects, including upgrades and expansions, to improve system performance and align with evolving business requirements. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines for IT infrastructure.
Employee IT Services and Support
• Provide front-line support to employees, addressing IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. Assist employees with system logins, configurations, and resolving technical issues.
• Provide technical support for both system and software issues across departments, resolving disruptions quickly to minimize impact on production and operations.
• Provide technical support and assistance to team members and end-users, resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain documentation of IT processes, policies, and procedures for employee reference.
• Facilitate training sessions for employees on new software applications and technology tools.
• Collaborate with other departments for their IT needs and provide tailored solutions.
Other Related Tasks
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the HRGA team and ensure efficient operations.
• Assist with special projects or initiatives related to human resources and general affairs as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, information technology or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in IT operations, managing network systems, servers, and databases.
• Proven experience leading and executing IT projects, from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and project scope.
• Hands-on experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across multiple departments or teams.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role, guiding and developing junior IT staff, setting performance expectations, and promoting teamwork.
• Practical experience working with IT infrastructure, including system administration (Windows/Linux servers), network management (LAN/WAN), and security systems.
• Experience in managing databases, including performing backups, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing database performance.
