Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Head of Global Accounting to lead the accounting strategy for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) a global portfolio of entities.

This role will be responsible for overseeing the internalization of accounting functions from external providers, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation and reporting, and driving the implementation of best-in-class global accounting practices.

As a senior leader, you will work closely with cross-functional finance teams, mentor and develop leaders within the accounting function, and play a key role in process optimization, team structuring, and ensuring global compliance.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred, but not required)
  • 10–15 years of experience in group accounting, with exposure to both industry and audit environments
  • Strong audit background, with hands-on experience in AP, AR, and core accounting operations
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and experience with ERP/data migration projects
  • A strategic leader who is also actively involved in operational execution, especially during month-end and close cycles
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
  • A pragmatic, hands-on leader who drives change through influence and collaboration rather than authority
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with a strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and problem-solving capability
