Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy Information Technology Intern to join our IT team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hardware and software troubleshooting, system support, and IT operations within a dynamic working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Provide technical support to end-users for desktop, printer, and network issues.
- Help monitor and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, network devices, and security systems.
- Support data backup, recovery procedures, and inventory management.
- Document technical processes and assist in updating internal IT knowledge base.
- Assist with user account setup, system access, and password resets.
- Participate in IT projects and contribute to process improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the IT team.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other common software applications.
- Good problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Familiarity with basic scripting or programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Experience with ticketing systems or IT support tools.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
