Job Summary
The
Chief Finance Officer (CFO)
will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, overseeing all financial operations and guiding the company's financial strategy, planning, and management. The CFO is responsible for ensuring the financial health, sustainability, and growth of Playmate Leisure Solutions Corp. through effective fiscal control, budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning.
This role requires a forward-thinking leader with strong business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic insights that drive profitability and operational excellence across all business units.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall business goals and growth objectives.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors based on financial analysis and projections.
- Oversee financial modeling, forecasting, and business planning to support key decision-making.
- Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities.
Financial Operations & Management
- Direct and supervise all accounting, finance, budgeting, and cost control activities.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
- Lead annual budgeting processes and ensure alignment with operational plans.
- Oversee cash flow management, capital allocation, and liquidity planning.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with local tax, audit, and corporate reporting requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies.
- Develop and enforce internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory regulations, and ethical standards.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance and Accounting teams to ensure operational excellence.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other department heads to drive cost-efficiency and financial discipline across the organization.
Business Growth & Investment
- Support corporate development activities such as mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and expansion initiatives.
- Evaluate and advise on investment opportunities and financial implications of new business ventures.
- Optimize capital structure and financing strategies to support sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA or MBA strongly preferred. - Experience:
At least
10 years
of progressive financial leadership experience, with
5 years
in a senior management or executive role (preferably in hospitality, gaming, or leisure industries). - Proven experience in strategic financial planning, corporate finance, and stakeholder management.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine financial regulations, taxation, and corporate governance standards.
- Proficient in financial systems, ERP, and advanced Excel modeling.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
