HR Generalist

The HR Generalist is responsible for managing a wide range of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll, compliance with Philippine labor laws, and overall support for employee welfare and engagement. This role ensures that HR operations run smoothly and align with the organization's mission and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Staffing
- Assist in creating and executing recruitment plans.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates.
- Conduct reference checks and issue employment contracts.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process.
Employee Relations
- Act as a liaison between employees and management.
- Investigate complaints and resolve grievances.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Performance Management
- Coordinate employee development and training plans.
- Assist in performance appraisal cycles.
- Support pay scale reviews and performance feedback processes.
Payroll & Compensation
- Assist in payroll processing and budget monitoring.
- Help administer compensation and benefits systems.
Compliance & Policy Development
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and Philippine labor laws.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of HR policies and procedures.
Employee Engagement & Welfare
- Develop and implement employee engagement and wellness programs.
- Promote a healthy, inclusive, and engaging work environment.
Onboarding
- Design and execute onboarding programs for new hires.
- Educate new employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and legal compliance.
Key Skills & Attributes
Communication- Clear and effective verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization.
- Strong multitasking and administrative skills to manage multiple HR functions efficiently.
- Ability to assess situations objectively and resolve issues with sound judgment.
- Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- In-depth understanding of Philippine labor laws to ensure legal compliance in all HR practices.
