Responsibilities and duties

  • Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure smooth operation.
  • System and fixture fitting: Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes, and join them using various fittings and fasteners.
  • Inspection and testing: Inspect and test pipes and systems for leaks and proper functionality.
  • Blueprint reading: Interpret blueprints to understand the location of pipes and other plumbing components.
  • Communication: Communicate with clients to provide estimates, explain services, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety guidelines.
  • Record-keeping: Maintain accurate records of jobs, parts used, and costs
