About the role

As a Safety Officer 2, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees. This full-time position is based in Lipa City Batangas and will involve overseeing all aspects of occupational health and safety within the organization.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  2. Developing, implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices
  3. Providing comprehensive safety training and education to all employees
  4. Investigating and documenting incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  5. Collaborating with management to continuously improve the company's safety culture and performance
  6. Maintaining accurate records and preparing detailed reports on the company's safety performance

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar occupational health and safety role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry
  2. Thorough understanding of relevant health and safety regulations and best practices
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address safety-related issues
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with employees at all levels
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to drive continuous improvement in safety performance
