Role overview:

Design and build the user interface for our applications. You will use Electron and React (with JavaScript/TypeScript) to implement responsive, user-friendly desktop and web frontends. Collaborate with designers and backend developers to deliver polished UI features.

Key responsibilities:

  • Implement frontend features in Electron/React using modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Convert UI/UX designs (mockups, wireframes) into high-quality code (HTML5/CSS3, responsive layouts).
  • Ensure seamless integration with backend APIs and services.
  • Optimize application performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
  • Write unit and integration tests for frontend components.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.

Required qualifications:

  • 3+ years of frontend development experience (mid-to-senior level) using React.
  • Proficiency with HTML/CSS and responsive design principles.
  • Experience building cross-platform desktop apps (Electron or similar).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, AJAX, and WebSockets.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent practical experience)

Preferred skills/experience:

  • Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, etc.) and UI frameworks (Material-UI, Bootstrap, etc.).
  • Knowledge of for tooling/build processes (webpack, npm).
  • Prior work on UX design or ability to work closely with designers.
  • Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, or testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress).
  • Understanding of Electron packaging and platform-specific quirks.

Location:

Initially remote; transition to on-site in BGC (Taguig, Manila). Contract type: Full-time or fixed-term contract, as needed.

Pay: Php35, Php100,000.00 per month
