Data Engineer (Remote – Philippines)
Join a small, innovative Australian-based team building a data-driven digital bank. You will work on modern Snowflake data platforms, using dbt, Azure, Python, and SQL to transform and map complex banking data into scalable, high-quality pipelines for analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines and data transformations.
Perform data mapping from multiple source systems into Snowflake.
Develop and optimize models in Snowflake using dbt.
Collaborate with business users to meet reporting and regulatory requirements.
Implement best practices for data quality, governance, and performance tuning.
Requirements:
Experience as a Data Engineer in banking or financial services.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Azure, Python, and SQL.
Strong ETL and data mapping expertise.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Ability to work remotely from the Philippines aligned with Australian timezones.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and PowerBI.
Work Setup: Fully remote from the Philippines, collaborating with a team in Australian timezones.
