About the Role

The Security SME will lead the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of native security solutions across hybrid and cloud environments (Azure/AWS/on-prem). You'll ensure compliance with security frameworks, streamline deployments using automation, and mentor teams on best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain native security tools such as firewalls, WAFs, NAC, SIEM, and network ACLs.
  • Design secure landing zones and enforce security baselines in hybrid environments.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and compliance audits.
  • Develop technical documentation, configuration templates, and runbooks.
  • Use scripting (Python, PowerShell, F5 iRules, etc.) to automate deployment and monitoring.
  • Lead troubleshooting, optimization, and incident response activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide them on security best practices.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in security configuration and administration.
  • Proven experience configuring native security solutions (firewalls, WAFs, NAC, ACLs, etc.).
  • Experience in cloud security (Azure/AWS) and hybrid architectures.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of vulnerability management, compliance audits, and security frameworks.
  • Excellent documentation and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Manila for a project-based engagement (Oct 2025–Feb 2026).
Good-to-Have
  • Experience with endpoint protection, SIEM/SOAR, IAM, and threat intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Certification(s) in security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or cloud-specific).
