N4 TOS Consultant

Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled N4 TOS Consultant to join our global Operations Technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation, migration, and ongoing operations of the Navis N4 Terminal Operating System (TOS) and its related integrations.

This role combines technical expertise, application support, project management and customer consulting ensuring that Navis N4 solutions deliver operational excellence, are cybersecurity-resilient, and align with industry best practices.

This position requires travel and flexibility to work outside standard business hours or on weekends as needed to support project cutovers, go-lives, and 24/7 terminal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

N4 TOS and Billing Implementation Services

As a subject matter expert (SME) for container terminal operations and software solutions, deliver end-to-end N4 TOS and N4 Billing implementations.

Assist with requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and go-live support.

N4 Cloud Migration Services

Participate in planning and execution of N4 on-premise to Cloud migrations.

Run-state L2 Application Support

Provide Level 2 support for ICTSI's N4 TOS environments.

Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve incidents in collaboration with Level 3 (vendor) support.

Ensure system stability and minimal business disruption.

Ensure reported CVEs are mitigated and all operational systems (Windows and Linux) and third party applications are patched and secured as per cyber security best practices.

Configuration & Customization Management

Manage N4 configurations, EDI messages, 3rd party system integrations.

Support customization requests with proper classification, prioritization, documentation and change controls.

Validate new releases, patches, and system upgrades.

Project Management & Delivery

Assist with planning, tracking, and reporting of N4-related projects.

Ensure delivery milestones and quality standards are met.

Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and best practices for TOS technologies. Share knowledge and expertise with IT leaders and stakeholders in our global business portfolio to foster continuous learning and improvement.

Skills and Capabilities Required

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Logistics, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years experience with Navis N4 Terminal Operating System (implementation, support, configuration).
3. Strong understanding of container terminal operations and processes with excellent business analysis skills.
4. Good understanding of MS SQL database concepts.
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Good presentation skills.
7. Exposure to scripting (Groovy, Java), familiarity with Azure Cloud hosting.
