Job Summary:

The Automation Specialist is responsible for developing, documenting, and implementing

automation solutions that improve service monitoring, reporting, and ticketing processes. The role

supports efficiency initiatives within Service Quality Management by reducing manual work,

minimizing errors, and ensuring timely delivery of automated reports and incident handling.

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and maintain automated tools for service monitoring, incident tracking, and report

generation.


• Write and update DSUS or related documentation for automation requirements.


• Coordinate with Tier 1 and DigiOps teams to validate and deploy automation solutions.


• Analyze manual processes to identify automation opportunities that enhance accuracy and

turnaround time.


• Create dashboards and reporting scripts for real-time visibility of service performance.


• Ensure all automation deliverables are properly documented and version-controlled.


• Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to operations teams for adopted

automations.


• Track and report automation performance, improvements, and maintenance updates.

Qualifications:

Education:


• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and

Communications Engineering, or any related technical field.

Experience:


• 2–4 years of experience in automation development, service monitoring, or operations

support.


• Background in IT service management, data reporting, or telecom operations is preferred.

Technical Skills:


• Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, SQL, PowerShell, or similar).


• Experience with automation and monitoring tools (e.g., ServiceNow workflows, APIs, or

data extraction scripts).


• Knowledge in process documentation (DSUS or similar frameworks).


• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Google Data Studio, or Excel).


• Understanding of ITIL or service management principles is an advantage.
