Position Overview

The Food and Beverage Supervisor oversee daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and/or catering services to ensure excellent guest experiences, operational efficiency, and compliance with quality standards. With a strong background in Sales, the role also contributes to revenue growth by supporting marketing initiatives, upselling programs, client relations, and event sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the food and beverage outlets, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company standards.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service consistency.
  • Manage staff schedules, daily briefings, and shift assignments.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control measures.

Team Leadership

  • Train, mentor, and motivate F&B staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Handle team performance, discipline, and employee relations in coordination with HR.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.

Customer Experience

  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Promote a welcoming and personalized dining experience.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement service improvements.

Sales & Business Development (Sales Background Focus)

  • Support the marketing and sales team in promoting special events, packages, and promotions.
  • Drive upselling initiatives among staff to maximize revenue per customer.
  • Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and walk-in customers to increase bookings.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and proposals for F&B-related events and functions.
  • Participate in cross-selling activities with other departments (e.g., accommodations, events, and leisure facilities).

Administrative & Reporting

  • Prepare shift and sales reports, including daily revenue and expense monitoring.
  • Assist in budget planning, cost control, and profitability analysis.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Food & Beverage operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record in Sales, Business Development, or Marketing, preferably in hospitality, F&B, or events.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and basic financial reporting.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
