Position Title: Payments Specialist

Job Summary:

Examines, analyzes, and process outward domestic and foreign telegraphic transfer (TT)/remittances through the appropriate electronic systems in accordance with established policies of the Bank and related BSP regulations including AMLA/KYC. Earmark to Treasury fund transfers to and from various accounts. Handles the centralized funding of USD and 3rd Foreign Demand drafts. Prepares and monitors timely submission of periodic internal/external regulatory reports. A liaison for account opening of MBNY's Dollar checking account and provider of technical assistance/solutions to various queries, issues, and concerns of branches, clients, and marketing officers.

Role Exposure:

  • Increase your exposure on the different payment systems in processing outward domestic and foreign telegraphic transfer
  • Enhance your interpersonal skills when working with branches, correspondent banks' customer service associates, and other business unit partners
  • Improve your multitasking and communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Preferably with working experience in banking operations
  • Has experience in data entry and data management in a high volume environment
  • Proficient with MS Office applications (Basic to intermediate level in Excel)
  • Must have good coordination and communication skills
