Portfolio Manager (AVP)

Job description:

You're responsible for end-to-end Customer Due Diligence (CDD) portfolio management for selected ING Bank branch(es). This includes facilitating cooperation among all participants (CDD analysts, Front Office, Client outreach, compliance, and senior management) to meet agreed timeliness, service levels, and productivity targets, ensuring ING complies with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

You are responsible for facilitating, supporting, and motivating the team by:

  • Designing, implementing, and regularly updating CDD portfolio reporting, including KPIs and service level performance metrics;

  • Openly and transparently communicating status to all involved process participants and facilitating their cooperation towards targets;

  • Helping derive mitigation, follow-up, or improvement actions based on data;

  • Constantly seeking improvements in ways of working and CDD processes to enhance cooperation and performance;

  • Driving engagement and creating a motivating environment for team members to achieve objectives.

Additionally, you are responsible for enabling operational performance by:

  • Facilitating delivery on agreed SLAs and KPIs;

  • Applying data-driven decision-making with timely, open, and transparent communication;

  • Understanding the environment, developing, and maintaining internal and external networks;

  • Acting as a business partner to internal stakeholders and managing relationships with them.

You also deliver continuous improvement (CI) and manage risk by:

  • Proving problem-solving capabilities following structured frameworks;

  • Delivering prescribed outcomes for designated areas, using risk management systems to prevent undue risks;

  • Ensuring compliance and safeguarding the organization's reputation;

  • Ensuring changes are documented in procedures and work instructions.
