Operations and Maintenance Engineer

Operation and Maintenance Engineers oversee and supervise projects involving provision of potable water and disposal of wastewater and sewage. Conducts data gathering during Testing and Commissioning, Process Proving, or Guarantee Run of on-going projects. The Engineer will be responsible in relaying critical information to the designated Project Manager/Engineer to be relayed to the client. The Engineer will also handle maintenance service request for existing projects from client and forward it to the contractors/suppliers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Supervise the conduct of ongoing on-site activities in collaboration with contractor/technology provider representatives.

  2. Spearhead the data gathering and operations monitoring on site.

  3. Report to assigned Project Manager/Engineer all critical activities on site.

  4. Report service maintenance request from client.

  5. Conduct site inspection for the maintenance request.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Supervise testing and commissioning, guarantee run, and process proving of ongoing projects.

  2. Monitor on-site activities in line with the operations manual. Report any system upset observed for troubleshooting.

  3. Coordinate with contractor/technology provider regarding sampling and test results for the samples.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

· Graduate of Chemical, Sanitary or Environmental Engineering, preferably licensed

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum two years applicable or relevant work experience

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

· Exemplary work experience as an operations engineer preferably in water/wastewater project.

· Advanced MS Office skills.

· Familiarity and ability to comply with all applicable rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.

· Aptitude for working collaboratively with multiple disciplines within teams and projects

· Proven success in the areas of project management and supervision

· Current certifications in applicable skills a plus
