IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • At least 3 years relevant experience - Finance Admin
  • Advanced Excel skills with 3+ years of use.
  • Experience with MYOB is preferred, but similar tools are also acceptable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience with Harvest or similar timesheet/project management tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Background in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work well with finance teams and management stakeholders.

YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE

Budget Management & Tracking

  • Update and track multiple client budgets in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Use existing budget templates (no need to create new ones).
  • Record spending across events, content plans, and marketing programs.
  • Monitor budget usage and ensure all costs are up to date.

Invoice Preparation (MYOB)

  • Prepare rolling monthly invoices in MYOB.
  • Enter expenses into MYOB as they come in.
  • Reconcile Harvest expenses and match them to the correct MYOB invoice.
  • Coordinate with the CEO to finalize monthly invoices.

Pay Plan Management

  • Manage pay plans showing billed, unbilled, and upcoming invoice items.
  • Log expenses such as event materials, monthly hours, and content production.
  • Capture all costs and billables per activity for real-time financial tracking.

Financial Coordination & Administration

  • Work with internal teams to ensure accurate expense logging.
  • Coordinate with the CEO and bookkeeper for financial alignment.
  • Provide ad hoc financial reporting and admin support.
