We are proud of our rich heritage, award-winning technologies, and we value the talents and contributions of all Advanced Energy's employees worldwide.Job SummaryThe Equipment Technician (SMT) is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting SMT equipment—including Screen Printer, SPI, Glue Dispenser, Chip Mounter, Reflow Oven, and AOI—to ensure smooth operations, minimize downtime, and support cost-effective maintenance through performance monitoring and preventive activities.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and operate SMT production equipment including Screen Printer, Solder Paste Inspection (SPI), Glue Dispenser, Chip Mounter, Reflow Oven, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) to ensure consistent and reliable performance.Respond quickly to equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.Track and analyze Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.Support efforts to reduce Repair and Maintenance (R&M) costs through effective troubleshooting and preventive measures.Enhance and execute preventive maintenance activities to extend equipment lifespan and prevent unexpected failures.QualificationsTechnical / Vocational Course graduate preferrably Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Electromechanics or any related fieldWith at least >3-year solid experience in SMT line sustaining, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.Knowledge of basic electronics, electrical and mechanical engineeringWilling to work in shifting scheduleCompensation As part of our total rewards philosophy, we believe in offering and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits programs for our employees to attract and retain a talented, highly engaged workforce.  Our compensation programs are focused on equitable, fair pay practices including market-based base pay, an annual pay-for-performance incentive plan, we offer a strong benefits package in each of the countries in which we operate.Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)Advanced Energy is committed to diversity in its workforce including Equal Employment Opportunity for Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities.We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
