Position: Pollution Control Officer – Dressing Plant

Location: National Highway, Barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu


Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Pollution Control Officer (PCO) to join our Dressing Plant operations in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, overseeing pollution control facilities, and implementing effective waste management systems.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Agriculture, or any related field
  • Must be a certified Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and have completed Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in environmental management, preferably in an agricultural or farm setting
  • Knowledge of pollution control laws, waste management, and DENR compliance standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the liaison with local government and environmental regulatory agencies
  • Supervise and ensure proper operation of farm pollution control facilities
  • Conduct regular monitoring and prepare reports such as Self-Monitoring Reports (SMR) and Compliance Monitoring Reports (CMR)
  • Oversee waste management, treatment, and disposal in compliance with DENR and LGU standards
  • Ensure compliance with environmental laws, company policies, and other mandated requirements
  • Maintain organized records of inspections, permits, and reports
  • Promote and implement environmental awareness and best practices within farm operations
