About the role

Mandarin Nest Boracay is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team in Aklan Western Visayas. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the company maintains strong financial health and compliance. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the strategic objectives of our growing hospitality business.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Oversee cash flow management and forecasting to ensure the company's liquidity and profitability
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and policies to mitigate risks
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to drive efficiency and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  • Qualified accountant with 5 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles, including accounting, budgeting, and cash flow analysis
  • Excellent financial reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic recommendations
  • Proficient in financial software and technologies, with the ability to streamline processes and implement new systems
  • Proven track record of leading and developing finance teams to achieve operational excellence
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Passionate about contributing to the growth and success of a dynamic, customer-focused organization
